The Summit
Lamp Corp. (SLC) represents over 4 generations
83 years, in the lamp and lighting industry. We started with oil and gas lamps and then electrified them. We currently specialize in Traditional, Colonial, Glass Hurricanes, Victorian, and Early Americana style of Lamps. We still DECORATE-ASSEMBLE-DESIGN our lamps in the USA-MADE IN THE USA.
SLC has invested in many private molds and floral patterns. To ensure the integrity of our designs as well as those of our suppliers, they or we have either applied for or have pending or have been issued either COPYRIGHTS or PATENTS on the lamps, designs and or components.
To insure a high quality of lamps we do the following procedures. Our glass decorations are oven fired into the glass @ 1100' F to ensure the fusing of the colors into and on the glass. Our metal components, either brass antique or brass finishes feature an electroplated finish, not an imitation paint antique finish. When we offer our metal parts in Verde, Cottage White, French Gold, or Black Iron we perform a multi-step painting process to ensure excellent adhesion and a durable long lasting finish or we use powder coating. Our electrical components are all UL listed and Approved. All of our lamps are 100% UL tested and approved. All night lights come with a bulb and are lighted before packing. We pack most of our lamps and shades in their own box and then master the component boxes into a 275 Test Double Wall Master Carton. This reduces damage in transit to less than 0.5%
